Straw yellow in colour with slight greenish highlights, Kados IGT Terre Siciliane is a single-varietal white wine made from Grillo grapes grown on the sun-drenched Risignolo estate in Western Sicily. On the nose, it offers a floral bouquet with subtle notes of vanilla and citrus.
The palate is wide, velvety, and lively, showing excellent structure and persistence—capturing the charm and richness of Sicilian terroir.
Hand-harvested in the early morning during the first half of September, only the first pressing must (about 55%) is used. Fermentation occurs slowly over 40 days in small oak casks, followed by lees ageing in glass-lined vats in cool cellars until late spring. The wine is then bottle-aged for at least three months under controlled temperature conditions.
A full-bodied and expressive white wine that pairs perfectly with refined fish dishes, noble shellfish, and flavourful white meat.
