Mare Chiaro, Ippolito 1845’s Cirò Bianco, is made from Greco Bianco grown near the Ionian coast, as a tribute to the sea of Cirò. It blends two harvests: the first for freshness and aroma, the second for structure. It then spends four months in steel.
Crystal clear, it has an intense, persistent aroma of ripe tropical fruit, pear, peach and white flowers. The palate is fresh and Mediterranean, with a pleasantly saline finish. Serve it with raw fish and sushi, pasta, grilled fish or white meats.
