Ippolito 1845 makes this white from Pecorello, an ancient Calabrian grape variety being rediscovered. The grapes are hand-harvested in early September, cold-settled and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, then kept in steel until the end of January.
Bright straw in colour, it has a complex, elegant, Mediterranean nose of citrus, yellow-fleshed fruit and mineral tones. The palate is vibrant, balanced and persistent. A natural match for Mediterranean fish dishes.
