Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from six carefully selected vineyards in the municipalities of Erbusco and Corte Franca, Curtefranca Chardonnay 2018 is a refined expression of Ca’ del Bosco’s meticulous winemaking.
After gentle pressing in the absence of oxygen, only the finest fraction of the must is transferred to small oak barrels—aged at least three years—for alcoholic fermentation.The wine then matures for 9 months on the fine lees in the same barrels before resting for an additional three years in bottle prior to release.
The result is a straw yellow wine with golden reflections, offering an aromatic profile of ripe apricot, tropical yellow fruits, and hints of aromatic herbs. Delicate woody notes and sweet oriental spices round out the nose. On the palate, it is enveloping and structured, supported by elegant minerality and a long, persistent finish marked by citrus and spice.
