A good pasta dish transforms everyday ingredients into something extraordinary any day of the week. Spring and Summer time inspires a fresh repertoire of pasta dishes that feature seasonal ingredients ready to satisfy.
This week, we are highlighting our new range of pasta from Mancini Pastificio Agricolo. They produce pasta exclusively with the durum wheat that is grown and harvested annually in the fields surrounding the factory in the heart of the Le Marche region, Italy. Every year this results in a “seasonal” product reflective of each year’s agricultural conditions.
Varieties of durum wheat that are best suited to their fields are selected, the environment in which the wheat will grow and the Mancini pasta-production method. The Classic line from Mancini, now available from Adriatic, is produced from durum wheat cultivated directly by the company. Semolina and water are the only ingredients.
Pasta varieties available are Bucatini; Curve; Fusilli Lunghi; Linguine; Maccheroni; Mezze Maniche; Pennette; Spaghetti, Spaghettoni Quadrati and Tuffoli.
