Zarpellon – Parmigiano Reggiano 22/24M

Zarpellon Parmigiano Reggiano DOP

The King of Cheeses | Aged to Perfection

Celebrate the essence of Italian craftsmanship with Zarpellon Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, the undisputed “King of Cheeses.” Handcrafted in the heart of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy, this extraordinary cheese represents centuries of dedication, tradition, and artistry. Each wheel is produced under strict Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) regulations, using only fresh, unpasteurised cow’s milk, natural rennet, and salt — a testament to purity and heritage.

Renowned for its distinctively granular texture and rich, nutty aroma, Parmigiano Reggiano is aged for a minimum of 12 months, with select wheels maturing up to 36 months or more. As it ages, its flavour deepens beautifully — evolving from delicate and milky to complex, savoury, and crystalline, revealing hints of toasted nuts, hay, and umami. Every wheel is rigorously inspected by the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano, ensuring that only the finest examples bear its iconic fire-branded seal.

A cornerstone of Italian gastronomy, Parmigiano Reggiano is as versatile as it is noble. Grate it generously over pasta, risotto, or soups, shave it onto salads or carpaccio, or savour thin slivers with aged balsamic vinegar or a full-bodied red wine. However it’s enjoyed, this cheese transforms simple dishes into expressions of authentic Italian excellence.

Zarpellon Parmigiano Reggiano DOP embodies everything great about Italian cheesemaking — tradition, patience, and unmatched flavour — making it a true culinary treasure for connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
