The Hamilton - Cocktail Recipe
- 3 cups of Segura Viudas Brut
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 1/2 cups of packed mint leaves
- 12 mint sprigs, for garnish
- 6 limes, cut into wedges
- 2 cups of light rum
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves.
In a large pitcher, combine the sugar syrup, the mint leaves and lime wedges and stir well with a spoon. Add the rum and stir again. Pour into flutes, top with Cava and garnish with the mint sprigs.
